    Receptor for lysophosphatidic acid (LPA), a mediator of diverse cellular activities. Seems to be coupled to the G(i)/G(o) and G(q) families of heteromeric G proteins.

Pharmacological approaches revealed that the LPA3-receptor subtype is responsible for the inhibitory effect of LPA on insulin signaling. PMID: 28922661
    2. Data showed that lysophosphatidic acid receptors LPA1-3, are phosphoproteins whose phosphorylation state is modulated by the natural agonist, LPA. PMID: 26473723
