Heterotrimer stimulates the Holliday junction resolvase Hjc. DNA polymerase I, DNA ligase and the flap endonuclease may be constitutively associated with the PCNA heterotrimer forming a scanning complex able to couple DNA synthesis and Okazaki fragment maturation.
