Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

功能:Transcription factor which regulates the expression of genes for gluconeogenesis, the TCA cycle, and glucose metabolism. Involved in the cell wall remodeling process and drug resistance.

- Rds2 binds to promoters of genes involved in gluconeogenesis, the glyoxylate shunt, and the TCA cycle as well as some genes encoding mitochondrial components or some involved in the stress response. There is an important overlap between the targets of Rds2 and Adr1. PMID: 22687600
- A nonsynonymous polymorphism in RDS2 significantly affects oxidative stress survival in a clinical Saccharomyces cerevisiae isolate. PMID: 21515583
- Data show that Rds2 has a dual function: it directly activates the expression of gluconeogenic structural genes while it represses the expression of negative regulators of this pathway. PMID: 17875938
- Rds2 is indeed involved in the drug-sensitivity response and plays a role in determining osmotic sensitivity. PMID: 18683633
