The movement protein allows efficient cell to cell propagation, by bypassing the host cell wall barrier. Engages in homologous interactions leading to the formation of a ribonucleoprotein complex containing viral genomic and messenger RNAs (vRNPs). TGBp2 and TGBp3 are necessary for intracellular delivery of TGBp1-containing vRNPs to plasmodesmata.
