Only hydrolyzes the beta anomers of xylooligosaccharides, with inversion of anomeric configuration. Hydrolyzes the glucose and xylose-based trisaccharides where xylose is located at the -1 subsite, GXX, XXG and GXG. Does not hydrolyze xylan, chitosan, lichenan, curdlan or carboxymethylcellulose.
