    The product CSB-PA868355LB01HU is a polyclonal antibody produced in the rabbit with the recombinant human SLCO1C1 protein (297-348AA) immunized. It exists as an HRP-conjugated IgG. It is purified by protein G and reaches up to 95% in purity. It only reacts with human SLCO1C1 protein, a specific thyroid hormone transporter responsible for the sodium-independent uptake of thyroid hormones in brain tissues. The SLCO1C1 antibody has been validated for use only in ELISA analysis.

    Mediates the Na(+)-independent high affinity transport of organic anions such as the thyroid hormones thyroxine (T4) and rT3. Other potential substrates, such as triiodothyronine (T3), 17-beta-glucuronosyl estradiol, estrone-3-sulfate and sulfobromophthalein (BSP) are transported with much lower efficiency. May play a significant role in regulating T4 flux into and out of the brain.
