    The synthesized peptide mapping within amino acids 124-219 of the human Beta-sarcoglycan (SGCB) protein is used to immunized rabbits to obtain anti-serum, which further undergoes protein G purification to get the SGCB antibody. This SGCB antibody occurs as a Biotin-conjugated IgG. Its purity is greater than 95%. It only reacts with human SGCB protein. Validation of this antibody in ELISA analysis has been tested. The target protein SGCB protein is a subunit of the sarcoglycan protein complex, which assists to maintain the structure of muscle tissue by binding to and stabilizing the dystrophin complex.
