ACOT7
ACOT7,即酰基輔酶A硫酯酶7,別名Acyl-CoAthioesterase7、ACT、ACH1、BACH、CTE-II、hBACH、LACH、LACH1、MGC1126、RP1-120G22。這是一種在人類細胞中表達的酶,屬于酰基輔酶A硫酯酶家族。ACOT7主要在大腦組織和睪丸中高度表達,它在細胞質中水解長鏈酰基輔酶A,尤其是棕櫚酰輔酶A,生成游離的長鏈脂肪酸和輔酶A。這一過程對于調節脂肪酸代謝和細胞信號傳遞至關重要。ACOT7的活性與神經細胞的健康狀態密切相關,其異常表達可能與內側顳葉癲癇等疾病相關。ACOT7在細胞周期進程中也發揮作用,可能通過調節PKCζ-p53-p21信號通路影響細胞周期。ACOT7不僅在能量代謝中起作用,還是治療神經系統疾病和癌癥的潛在靶點。
