Catalyzes the transfer of 4-deoxy-4-formamido-L-arabinose from UDP to undecaprenyl phosphate. The modified arabinose is attached to lipid A and is required for resistance to polymyxin and cationic antimicrobial peptides. Not required for full virulence.
