復溶:We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

功能:Catalyzes a mechanistically unusual reaction, the ATP-dependent insertion of CO2 between the N7 and N8 nitrogen atoms of 7,8-diaminopelargonic acid (DAPA, also called 7,8-diammoniononanoate) to form a ureido ring. This cyanobacterium does not encode bioA (which catalyzes the formation of the precursor for this reaction in the cannonical pathway), instead it encodes bioU, which replaces bioA and also performs the first half of the cannonical BioD reaction. Thus in this bacteria BioD has a different substrate. In Synechocystis replacement of bioU by bioA from E.coli leads to biotin synthesis, showing BioD can use the 'cannonical' 7,8-diammoniononanoate as a substrate.
