We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.

Can you make this product with an epitope tag other than His tag?

Thanks for your inquiry. Do you mean the protein only has the epitope tag without any other tag, or the customer can accept epitope tag as well as other tag.
The expected tag for each expression system is list as follows:
YP: N-terminal 6xHis-tagged; EP, BP, MP: N-terminal 10xHis-tagged and C-terminal Myc-tagged.
As you can see the default tag for each expression system, except the YP protein, the other three proteins all have the myc-tag at the C-terminal, it's an epitope tag,
Mainly for the convenience of customer and us to do myc-tag antibody WB detection, in order to further detect the correctness of the target protein.
If the customer wants to keep the C-terminal Myc-tagged and doesn't want N-terminal His-Tag, we can perform tag removal to remove the N-terminal His-tag.
The overall success rate of enzyme digestion data analysis is 75%-86%.
Not all protein tags can be removed as some proteins will be very unstable after tag removal.
If we succeed in removing the tag, we will charge for extra cost.
If we fail in removing the tag, we won’t charge for any extra cost, and remark this information in datasheet as follows
“Note: The laboratory determined that the Tag on your protein could not be removed with standard laboratory procedures. Your protein is being supplied with the Tag intact.”
Generally, the delivery time will be extended for 3 days.
If the customer needs some other epitope tags, such as Flag tag or HA tag, we can also provide. There isn't any extra charges, just need to remark your requirement when placing the order.
Regarding the Flag-tag, there are several choices:
N-terminal Flag-tagged; C-terminal Flag-tagged; N-terminal 6xHis-Flag-tagged; N-terminal 6xHis-tagged and C-terminal Flag-tagged; N-terminal 10xHis-tagged and C-terminal Flag-tagged; N-terminal Flag-Myc-tagged and C-terminal Flag-Myc-tagged, etc. Pls check with the customer which kind of Flag-tag he/she needs.
Regarding the HA tag, generally we will link the N-terminal 10xHis-HA-tagged, if the customer has some other demand, pls feedback to us.
