    CUSABIO developed the polyclonal antibody against trxA by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide that corresponds to amino acids 2-109 of the recombinant Thioredoxin 1. Thioredoxin 1 is a small, highly conserved protein found in Escherichia coli that plays a crucial role in maintaining cellular redox balance and regulating cellular processes. Following immunization, the antiserum from the rabbits underwent protein G affinity chromatography to purify the anti-trxA antibody, resulting in a purity level of 95%. The resulting antibody is an unconjugated IgG and is specific to Escherichia coli trxA. This trxA antibody can be used for the detection of trxA protein in ELISA and WB applications.
