    CUSABIO immunizes the rabbit with a peptide mapping within amino acids 3-475 of the soybean rbcL protein thus obtaining the anti-rbcL antibody. This polyclonal antibody against rbcL is an unconjugated IgG. It only reacts with soybean samples. Its target protein rbcL is the large subunit of Rubisco, an enzyme that catalyzes the initial steps of two opposing reaction pathways: photosynthetic carbon fixation and photorespiration. The purity of this antibody is greater than 95% using protein G purified. This rbcL antibody is suitable for use in ELISA and WB applications.c
