    M polyclonal antibody CSB-PA322192LA01RAI was produced in the rabbit immunized by using the Recombinant Rabies virus Matrix protein (1-202AA) as the immunogen. The target protein M plays a major role in assembly and budding of virion. It completely covers the ribonucleoprotein coil and keep it in condensed bullet-shaped form. Furthermore, it can inhibit viral transcription and stimulates replication. This protein also plays a major role in early induction of TRAIL-mediated apoptosis in infected neurons (By similarity).
    This Rabbit anti-Rabies virus M Polyclonal antibody was tested in the ELISA. The non-conjugated IgG got purified by protein G and reached up to 95% in purity. It only reacts with the M proteins of rabies virus-origin and may be used to detect the endogenous levels of M protein.
