    The CDK12 antibody is a polyclonal IgG antibody developed in a rabbit. The immunogen is the recombinant human CDK12 protein (1309-1490aa). The purity of this CDK12 antibody exceeds 95% using protein G purification. This CDK12 antibody is specifically reactive with human species. The reactivity of this OCLN antibody with the CDK12 protein has been confirmed by ELISA and WB assays.

    CDK12 is a kinase enzyme that regulates the expression of genes involved in various cellular processes, including transcription, DNA damage response and repair, and cell cycle regulation. Mutations in the CDK12 gene have been identified in a subset of tumors, including ovarian, breast, and prostate cancers.

    Cyclin-dependent kinase that phosphorylates the C-terminal domain (CTD) of the large subunit of RNA polymerase II (POLR2A), thereby acting as a key regulator of transcription elongation. Regulates the expression of genes involved in DNA repair and is required for the maintenance of genomic stability. Preferentially phosphorylates 'Ser-5' in CTD repeats that are already phosphorylated at 'Ser-7', but can also phosphorylate 'Ser-2'. Required for RNA splicing, possibly by phosphorylating SRSF1/SF2. Involved in regulation of MAP kinase activity, possibly leading to affect the response to estrogen inhibitors.
