Catalyzes the hydrolysis of the 2-sulfate groups of the 2-O-sulfo-D-glucuronate residues of chondroitin sulfate, heparin and heparitin sulfate. Acts selectively on 2-sulfoglucuronate and lacks activity against 2-sulfoiduronate.
