Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

產品描述：

Recombinant rat Alpi protein is an active protein produced in mammalian cells. Its expression region corresponds to the 21-511aa of the rat Alpi protein. It has high purity, >95% assessed by SDS-PAGE. The molecular weight of this Alpi protein on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 60-70kDa. Its endotoxin level is less than 1.0 EU/ug measured by the LAL method. It is expressed with a 10xHis-tag at N-terminus. The specific activity of this Alpi protein is >10370.37 U/mg.

Alpi is the encoding gene for IAP-1, a brush border metalloenzyme that hydrolyzes phosphate from the lipid A moiety of LPS and thereby significantly reduces TLR-4 agonist activity. In addition to detoxifying LPS, IAP-1 is involved in dephosphorylating pro-inflammatory nucleotides like ATP and UDP, bicarbonate secretion regulation and duodenal pH maintenance, intestinal epithelial barrier protection by modulating the levels of tight junction proteins like occludins, claudins, and zonula occludens, gut microbial community modulation, and autophagy induction. IAP-1 deficiency has been associated with a variety of diseases, including inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), type 2 diabetes, ischemic heart disease, aging, and metabolic syndrome.
