Have you ever tested tissue sample?
Tissue Homogenates 100mg tissue was rinsed with 1X PBS, homogenized in 1 ml of 1X PBS and stored overnight at -20°C. After two freeze-thaw cycles were performed to break the cell membranes, the homogenates were centrifuged for 5 minutes at 5000 x g, 2 - 8°C. The supernate was removed and assayed immediately. Alternatively, aliquot and store samples at -20°C or -80°C. Centrifuge the sample again after thawing before the assay. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Is this kit also compatible to test Leptin levels in Zebrafish?

This is a competitive kit. There is only one antibody in the kit.
The plate is coated with mouse monoclonal antibody. ( Immunogen is CHO-derived recombinant protein.)
Standard is CHO-derived recombinant protein.
Pls find attached manual.
We tested salmon serum and plasma and some common freshwater fish before and the test value is about
125pg/ml under 1:100 dilution. The final concentration is about 12.5ng/ml.
